  • We had a very enjoyable stay thank you. The daytime temperatures were very high, but the cottage was cool. The hike to the waterfall was a highlight. The cottage and surrounds were very neat and tidy on our arrival, Willem was an attentive host. We popped in at Vero’s shop on the Baviaanskloof road, well done on this wonderful initiative; Veronica says that business is good!

  • The experience at the Just for Two cottage in the Baviaanskloof was something that my wife and I would never forget.  The hospitality of the people and the food were great.  If the time is right, we would like to visit again.  We already ‘advertised’ this adorable cottage and the scenery to family and friends who are now also eager to go there and experience themselves.

  • We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage!  It would be good to advertise that there are awesome little pools along the way to the waterfall so that those with little ones realize that it's not necessary to go all the way to the waterfall pools. We had such a gorgeous time! And also really enjoyed the thunderstorm on our last night - we even sat outside together and my 2.5 son loved it!  I hope we get back to visit again and maybe bring some friends along too.  Thank you, I could feel that lots of energy and love has been invested into the farm. Willem and Marta were also great.

  • We had a great stay at the Cob Cottage.  It was just an in an out but we found the cottage very comfortable and will visit again.

  • We enjoyed our stay in the guesthouse; it is a very special house and the atmosphere made a great impression, that we will never forget. In the evening there was a very strong wind and it rained, but we made a fire in the living room, put the stones in front of the doors and had a very cosy evening. In the morning the sun was shining and we drank coffee on the veranda with an amazing view.  We also enjoyed dinner and breakfast with Martha, also a nice experience.

  • Many thanks, we had a very enjoyable stay in your cottage. While the cottage is basic but tastefully decorated, the solitude provided ample opportunity for reflection and relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed the falls hike on Sunday, though weren’t brave enough to swim.

  •  We [Claire & I] are now back from our trip to the Baviaanskloof and once more noses to the grindstone / at our desks.

Firstly I have to say that your website, communication process and follow-up is excellent.

We had such a good time at Just for Two Cottage. It was exactly what we needed - and the type of accommodation and location that we adore.

We managed to relax, walk and mountain bike and take a great ride home through the Nature Reserve yesterday on our way back home.

We were very lucky with the weather - the days were beautiful. The nights were also stunning but a little more challenging as it was so cold - but we managed to survive them.

Willem was excellent - a real asset [but I guess that you have heard that a few times before].

We will definitely return. It is such a stunning spot and lots to explore and do in the surrounding area.

  • We loved the guest house. It was comfortable and we felt very much at home. The gas water heaters work very well, which in my experience is quite amazing and the kettle top whistle takes you right back in time. We also loved the wildlife around it. You have so many different birds in your beautiful garden. We also saw the black eagles when walking the Labyrinth and also bathed in the river. We watched the tortoises grazing on the clover in the field across the house. As soon as the sun sets behind the mountain, they squeeze underneath the fence and hide in the bushes in your garden for the night. We made friends with the horses and watched the little lambs jumping around in the meadow.   Thank you for a beautiful weekend.

Marta’s food was delicious, especially the lamb potjie and the veg pie and I even tried a few Afrikaans phrases with Willem.

  • Baie dankie ons het baie lekker gebly, kuier en gestap tydens ons verblyf in Just for Two en Cob Cottage.  Die twee verblyfplekke was baie lekker.  Baie lekker gebly en gaan definitief weer die Baviaaans besoek.

  • My wife and I are always on the look out for a cottage in the mountains. Well Just For Two certainly ticked all the boxes. Absolutely loved the cottage and the countryside. My thoughts kept going back to the history of the place – who lived there originally and what life was like. Even the spade at the braai area was special – made in England but now with an impressive South African handle. I do hope you have no plans to build any accommodation within sight of Just For Two. It is a romantic getaway which takes you back in history and  where one feels at one with nature. Just a pity you are 650 km away from us in Rondebosch but rest assured we will find reason to visit again.

Thank you for the encouragement to support Marta for a meal or two – we did that on Monday evening. Both Willem and Marta do a good job. When we walked the Labyrinth we did think that it is in danger of erosion and becoming a little overgrown but then it also does not need to look like a path at Kirstenbosch. We probably fell short of reaching the waterfall by about 10 or 15 minutes but there will be another time. I must also just compliment you with your communication – the impression we get is that you guys really care about your place and about the client experience.
