  • Many thanks, we had a very enjoyable stay in your cottage. While the cottage is basic but tastefully decorated, the solitude provided ample opportunity for reflection and relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed the falls hike on Sunday, though weren’t brave enough to swim.

  • My wife and I are always on the look out for a cottage in the mountains. Well Just For Two certainly ticked all the boxes. Absolutely loved the cottage and the countryside. My thoughts kept going back to the history of the place – who lived there originally and what life was like. Even the spade at the braai area was special – made in England but now with an impressive South African handle. I do hope you have no plans to build any accommodation within sight of Just For Two. It is a romantic getaway which takes you back in history and  where one feels at one with nature. Just a pity you are 650 km away from us in Rondebosch but rest assured we will find reason to visit again.

Thank you for the encouragement to support Marta for a meal or two – we did that on Monday evening. Both Willem and Marta do a good job. When we walked the Labyrinth we did think that it is in danger of erosion and becoming a little overgrown but then it also does not need to look like a path at Kirstenbosch. We probably fell short of reaching the waterfall by about 10 or 15 minutes but there will be another time. I must also just compliment you with your communication – the impression we get is that you guys really care about your place and about the client experience.

  • We had a very good stay in the Just for Two cottage.  We made the most delicious meals in the oven – a Pork Belly of note ;-). And we used the bonfire area with its endless scenery as well. The bathroom is really something different, we had lovely relaxing baths and showers with a fantastic view! Willem told us how to look for the packed stones and off we went on our walk to the waterfall. It was a lovely, and at times, challenging walk but with ‘a pot of gold at the end’!! we swam in the ice cold water in the gorge. It was something truly spectacular and memorable!!! Those mountains are breathtaking !

The farm and the unit were very clean and pretty! I love the special touches in the cottage like the heart patterned out on the bedroom floor and the ever so neatly packed peach-pip stoep.  I would (and already have) recommend Just for Two to anybody and will definitely HAVE to return to the Baviaanskloof !!!!

  • We had a wonderful stay and break at For 2. It lived up to and surpassed our expectations.  We are busy advertising it's virtues at a rapid rate to anyone who is willing to listen.

  • Our stay in your wonderfull farmhouse was pure magic. The peace, tranquility and beauty, were all we hoped for and more. Willem and Marta were there to welcome us and were very friendly and helpful. All in all it, was a fab time.Definitely need to come back and explore again.

  • We loved our stay on your farm and in the Cedar Guest House.   Willem was a really great host and we enjoyed learning more about the farm through what was written in and on the house.  The Baviaanskloof is a real treasure and we tried to explore as much as we could. It was awesome.

  • We had a super time at your farm.   We'd travelled thru the Kloof on a very hot day and were so relieved to find this little piece of heaven.  The hospitality (and cool dam) on arrival was perfect.  Martha and Willem are excellent hosts and the food is brilliant. We went for the marathon hike to the waterfall early the next morning and it was an experience we will never forget.  We're so happy we decided to make the effort. We'd love to come back to visit again and spend a little longer there next time.

  • You have a wonderful home, very clean & nicely looked after. The beds are amazing. And the food the ladies cooked went down very very well. So much flavor. We arrived & a nice big fire was made outside for us. Self catering definitely suits us, we had room in the kitchen to make 50 ham & cheese funs for our 8 riders. We were so happy & impressed that's why we want to book now for the Bivaans weekend thursdays & Fridays nights for a few years now. We will commit to those 2 nights each year. Usually the same weekend each year. Thank you again to you & your staff.

  • We had a great stay at the Cob Cottage.  It was just an in an out but we found the cottage very comfortable and will visit again.

  • It was lovely and we are already planning to come back, this time with friends! What a beautiful place! Willem was very kind and helpful. I will soon post an photo on your facebook page!
